Vigora 50 mg contains sildenafil, a PDE-5 inhibitor used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in adult men. It works by increasing blood flow to the penis when sexual stimulation occurs, helping achieve and maintain an erection. It does not increase sexual desire or produce an erection automatically. For most men, 50 mg is the standard starting dose, generally taken about one hour before sexual activity. Depending on effectiveness and tolerability, a doctor may adjust the dose to 25 mg or 100 mg. It should not be taken more than once in 24 hours.
